Avi Kantor is the Founder and Managing Partner of Certior Financial Group, an independent financial planning and wealth management firm serving individuals and families nationwide. He is also the founder of The Certior Group, a multi-family office based in Jackson, Wyoming. With more than 25 years of experience across public and private investments, Avi provides leadership grounded in clarity, discipline, and long-term perspective—guiding the firm’s strategic direction while helping clients align their financial lives with what matters most.

Avi’s career spans global business, consulting, and investment leadership. Prior to founding Certior, he lived and worked overseas as a Director at I. Buchman, an international trade company, where he gained firsthand experience navigating complex cross-border business environments.  Earlier in his career, Avi served as a management consultant at Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) in New York, helping to advise organizations on strategy, operations, and financial decision-making. He holds B.A. degrees in Political Economy and Economics from the Murphy Institute at Tulane University.

Avi’s approach to leadership and advising reflects a belief that wealth is best stewarded with intention, humility, and a deep understanding of life’s broader context. His work focuses not only on investment outcomes, but on helping families navigate complexity, prepare for change, and build confidence across generations.

Outside of work, Avi lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his wife, Rachel, their three children, and dogs; spending time both in Jackson and the Philadelphia area through his work and leadership roles. He enjoys skiing and hiking, and is deeply committed to community service. Avi volunteers as an adaptive ski instructor, serves on the board of the National Museum of Wildlife Art Museum, and supports several community-based nonprofit organizations. Time with family, being outdoors, and giving back are central to the life he and his family strive to build.
